Tea to be held at the home of Jacque Landers, former JGC President and Honorary Member. to install the new 2019 - 2021 officers. All members and friends are welcome to attend.
Mar 26 2019 Easy to Make Floral Designs
Jonquil Garden Club members Faith Iskyan and Shirley Priest will offer a hand on presentation on techniques to create small floral tapestries in a box. All members and guests are welcome to attend. Bring your own scissors and materials will be provided so you can leave with your own floral creation.
Apr 23, 2019 Plants That Grow Well in the Garden
Master Gardener Jack Driskell is a returning presenter who will give a presentation on plants that grow well in the garden - mostly shade plants but some sun lovers as well. He will bring examples from his garden.
May 29, 2019 In House Plant Sale
Jonquil Garden Club members bring favorite plants (from their gardens or purchased) for this in house auction. Sale proceeds help raise funds for our JGC horticulture scholarship awarded each year to a Chattahoochee Tech student.
June July and August No regular club meetings
Any JGC activities ie the Birthdays Luncheon will be announced by email.

Pat Price and Carol Brooks, North Fulton County Master Gardeners are avid gardeners who teach a variety of community garden classes. They will present a program on plants that deer usually don't eat, and ways to steer the deer away from your yard.
October 5, 2019 10th Annual Plant Sale - Symrna Community Center Field
8 am - Noon Annual sale with nice variety of Fall sun and shade plants mainly from members' gardens. You'll find shrubs, ground covers & pansies for Fall planting to beautify your landscape & gardens as well as wreaths for home decor. Proceeds support our scholarship, educational and community projects. We have relocated our sale to the field on the west side of the Smyrna Community Center along Atlanta Rd. and as part of the Fresh Market.

Mickey Gazaway, certified arborist and Master Gardener will present a program on how to prepare your gardens for the changing season. Ms Gazaway is a Garden Club Coordinator,speaker for Pikes Nursery and writes a gardening column.
